My name is David Donnelly, Principal of Cuckmere House School, and I would like to extend a warm welcome to our website. Cuckmere House School is an outstanding special school that makes provision for children and young people with social, emotional & mental health needs (SEMH) from Key Stage 1 to 4.  Cuckmere House School is a unique school to be part of; we are committed to ensuring that each child can access the highest possible standard of education and be supported to better manage their behaviour, emotional and mental health needs.

Our vision is to create a warm, caring, stable supportive environment in which all pupils and staff feel safe. By creating an engaging and challenging learning environment, we aim to develop the multitude of skills and talents that our young people have to enable them to become independent, resilient and self-motivated, taking pride in their achievements and their educational journey.

At the centre of this is our curriculum where all are encouraged and enabled to develop their academic knowledge, their practical skills and their social, emotional and mental wellbeing; their Heads, their Hands and their Hearts.
